Talent Development Specialist

Select Sires seeks a Talent Development Specialist to design, deliver, and evaluate training that strengthens capabilities across our bovine genetics business. In this role, you will assess learning needs, build technical and soft-skills programs, and support career development for field, technical, and office teams. You'll collaborate closely with leaders to align learning strategies with innovation and herd productivity goals. Ideal candidates bring experience in instructional design, facilitation, and program evaluation, plus passion for agriculture or animal science and a growth-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver training programs for dairy and beef genetics, products, and services
• Assess skill gaps and develop learning plans for technical, sales, and field teams
• Create engaging e-learning, workshops, and blended learning content
• Partner with leaders to align talent development with business and innovation goals
• Track training effectiveness using metrics and feedback; recommend improvements
• Coordinate onboarding and ongoing development pathways for key roles
• Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives
• Maintain training resources, schedules, and learning management systems
