Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in metal fabrication and precision engineering, is seeking a Flat Table Laser Technician to join their team. As a Flat Table Laser Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Flat Table Laser Technician

Location: Centennial, CO

Pay Range: $ 30

Shift: 5 x 8-hour shifts/week (Monday-Friday), with 4 hours of overtime on Saturday

What's the Job?

  • Set up, operate, and monitor the Amada Flat Table Laser to cut sheet aluminum for a dedicated production line.
  • Learn and execute machine start-up procedures, cutting programs, and process steps for assigned parts, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications related to production parts.
  • Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of machine settings, production logs, and inspection reports to ensure traceability and accountability.

What's Needed?

  • Experience with CNC equipment operation, particularly flat table laser machines, or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Basic understanding of blueprint reading and measurement tools such as calipers.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and perform basic math calculations for measurements.
  • Willingness to follow safety procedures, including forklift operation and use of hand tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality in a manufacturing environment.
