Job Title: Talent Acquisition Business Partner 2

Location: Remote: Maryland (Remote; preference for candidates in the DMV area)

Client: American Aerospace and Defense Technology Company

Duration: 12 Month Contract

Pay Rate: $35/hr on w2

Department: University Relations & Recruiting (UR&R)

Focus: Recruiting interns and entry-level talent for Mission Systems

Key Responsibilities:

·       Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate engagement, and offer management.

·       Partner with hiring managers throughout the assessment and selection process.

·       Evaluate candidates for skills, competencies, and cultural fit.

·       Advise hiring managers on interviewing and talent acquisition strategies.

·       Build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.

·       Use market intelligence, recruiting data, and cross-functional resources to support staffing strategies.

·       Ensure compliance with diversity, recruiting, and talent acquisition processes.

·       Support recruiting events and business needs, including occasional regional travel.

Basic Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree + 2+ years of recruiting, sourcing, HR, or related experience; OR Master’s degree.

·       Ability to travel occasionally within the region.

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Experience in University Relations & Recruiting (UR&R).

·       Strong planning and organizational skills.

·       Experience managing multiple high-priority projects in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

·       Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Workday and Eightfold.

Ideal Candidate:

A mid-level recruiter/TA professional with 2+ years of recruiting or HR experience, strong stakeholder-management skills, and preferably experience recruiting interns and entry-level talent in a high-volume environment. DMV-area candidates with Workday/Eightfold experience are especially desirable.
