Data Engineer

We're looking for Data Engineers to help deliver secure, mission-critical solutions for customers across the National Security sector.

Working as part of a collaborative engineering team, you'll design and develop scalable data platforms, build robust data pipelines and transform complex datasets into meaningful insights. You'll have the opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies, distributed systems and large-scale data environments on projects that have real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities

. Design and develop scalable data pipelines and ingestion frameworks
. Integrate, process and enrich data from multiple sources
. Build high-quality data services that support analytics and decision-making
. Optimise performance, reliability and security across data platforms
. Work within Agile delivery teams to design, develop and deploy secure solutions
. Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews and continuous improvement

Skills & Experience

. Commercial experience in Data Engineering
. Strong Python or Java development skills
. Experience with AWS cloud services
. Knowledge of Apache Spark, Hadoop, NiFi or similar big data technologies
. Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and processing large datasets
. Understanding of software engineering best practices, testing and CI/CD
. Comfortable working in Agile environments
