Senior Electrical Engineer

Description Step into high-impact engineering work supporting heavy industrial and process facilities across the U.S., with a team that values precision, leadership, and technical excellence. This Senior Electrical Engineer opportunity offers a role in St. Louis, MO (Atlanta, GA or Tucson, AZ may be considered), where you’ll design, coordinate, and commission low/medium-voltage power, contr ols, and automation systems.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Electrical Engineer position include: Minimum 10+ years of electrical engineering experience with increasing responsibility (8-15+ years targeted), including industrial plant power, contr ols, automation, low/medium-voltage systems, contr ol panel design, electrical calculations, and commissioning experience. Active P.E. license required; ability to obtain registrations across the U.S. Expertise in industrial plant power distribution, grounding, and design/operation of low and medium voltage systems in heavy process industries.

Proficiency developing electrical and contr ol schematics, including MCC, instrumentation, one-line diagrams, and grounding/lighting plans. Experience with power transmission, power contr ol and protection systems, and medium-voltage protective relay setup (GE Multilink Protective Relays or equivalent). Ability to specify equipment, develop cable lists and I/O lists, and create electrical design criteria while supporting kickoff meetings, proposals, and CAPEX planning.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and SKM Power Tools; PLC programming and HMI configuration experience, with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell experience a plus. Strong leadership and communication skills, including mentoring and coaching junior engineers, managing departmental goals/programs, and traveling for site support and commissioning (U.S. travel with occasional overseas travel).

Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 per year, annual profit sharing tied to company profitability.
