Baer is looking for Oracle ADW Database Administrator & ETL Consultant for a 6-month Federal remote Project.

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) Database Administrator & ETL professional to support database administration, data integration, and application modernization initiatives. The resource will be responsible for managing ADW environments, developing and maintaining ETL workflows, optimizing SQL queries, and ensuring data quality, security, and performance. The role will also support Oracle APEX applications, data validation, and integration testing to ensure reliable data processing and successful delivery of business solutions.
Description:

• Administer and maintain Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), including database configuration, user access, security, monitoring, backup, and performance optimization.
• Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL/ELT workflows for data extraction, transformation, loading, and validation.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic to support reporting and analytics requirements.
• Support data integration between Oracle ADW, Oracle APEX applications, and other enterprise systems.
• Perform data quality checks, reconciliation, and validation to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Support Oracle APEX application development, deployment, and database connectivity.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and data teams to resolve technical issues and deliver project requirements.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression testing for database processes, ETL workflows, and application components.
• Track defects, test execution, and quality metrics using Jira and Zephyr, supporting Agile testing processes.
• Maintain technical documentation for database configurations, ETL processes, data mappings, testing procedures, and operational support.

Requirements:

• Experience in Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) administration, SQL development, query optimization, and database security.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows, data integration, migration, and validation.
• Working knowledge of Oracle APEX, OCI, and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or equivalent tools.
• Experience with Agile testing, test execution, defect management, and regression testing.
• Familiarity with Jira and Zephyr for test management and defect tracking.
• Knowledge of data quality, .NET application integration, and GenAI-enabled application testing is preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Technical Skills: Agile Testing, Test Execution and Management, Oracle APEX, Jira/Zephyr, and SQL
• Bachelor s Degree.
