Job description

Title: Sr. Engineers, Infotainment/Connectivity Platform
Location: Palo Alto, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ months

Job Description

Senior engineers join the same codebase and validation work as the lead, working with the project leads on execution goals and timelines.

The role requires 3+ years of embedded software experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ramp up on the existing codebase, build pipeline, and regression testing
  • Work with project leads on execution goals and timelines
  • Collaborate with architecture, hardware, and software teams on debugging and validation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of embedded software experience
  • Direct hands-on experience with Qualcomm or other infotainment SoCs
  • Proven record of leading ECU or SoC bring-up programs end to end
  • Strong BSP and kernel bring-up expertise (Linux, U-Boot or equivalent)
  • C/C++ and Python or Rust; hardware debug tools (Lauterbach, JTAG, oscilloscope)
  • Strong cross-team communication; experience working directly with SoC vendors

Preferred

  • Automotive-grade SoC bring-up experience
  • Familiarity with the Qualcomm SDK and toolchain
  • Experience with hypervisor-based platforms
  • ISO 26262 functional safety awareness
