Senior Frontend Developer - Remote

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Frontend Developer position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This role is for a Senior Frontend Developer to lead the development of schema-driven, form-based UIs using Angular, TypeScript, Angular Material, and JSON Forms. The selected candidate will join an innovative team of technologists developing a Design Portal with build automation capabilities. This is a frontend-focused role where you will play a key part in building maintainable, reusable UI components and ensuring an excellent user experience.
Responsibilities:

• Build responsive, modular applications using Angular, TypeScript, and Angular Material
• Implement dynamic form rendering using JSON Forms and JSON Schema
• Design reusable components, layouts, and validation logic
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and handle reactive data flows using RxJS
• Collaborate closely with backend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver cohesive features
• Write clean, testable code and contribute to code reviews and technical planning
• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and adherence to UI/UX best practices

Requirements:

• 6+ years of frontend development experience using Angular (v12+) and TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of Angular Material and modern component architecture
• Experience with RxJS, reactive state handling, and Angular routing
• Hands-on experience with JSON Forms and JSON Schema in a production setting
• Proven track record of building scalable, maintainable frontend applications
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently

Desired skills:

• Experience with Angular standalone components (v16+)
• Experience with GoJS
• Experience with full stack development
• Styling experience with Tailwind CSS or hybrid Material/Tailwind approaches
• Familiarity with Jest, Cypress, or other testing tools
• Experience with SonarQube or other static analysis/code quality tools
• Familiarity with customizing or extending JSON Forms renderer logic
• Understanding of backend concepts and basic comfort working in Spring Boot
• Awareness of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)

Pay range: $58.00 - $66.00 per hour
