Data Center Controls Tech, Deployment | Herndon, VA, United States | On-site
We're hiring on behalf of a highly respected global leader in cloud computing, known for its relentless innovation and commitment to providing unparalleled services to customers worldwide. The Role
- Deploy, service, and upgrade Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) within state-of-the-art data centers.
- Mentor and train Facilities team members on the operation and control of BMS and EPMS.
- Manage small to medium-sized projects and programs related to control systems deployment.
- Perform point-to-point checks, first-line diagnostics, and troubleshooting of control systems hardware and software.
- Install, replace, configure, and calibrate sensors, and provide commissioning support.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and control panel drawings, and supervise low-voltage electrical contractors.
What You'll Need
- 1+ years of professional experience or technical work related to industrial instrumentation/controls or equivalent electrical/mechanical operations.
- A Technical School diploma or Associate degree with one year of relevant experience, or military/trade school experience.
- A minimum of one year of experience with mission-critical low and medium voltage electrical and/or mechanical systems.
- Basic understanding of industrial control systems, controllers, and programming, including troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of network design, layout, and low voltage cabling.
