Senior Accountant | Irving, TX, United States | Hybrid A well-established commercial real estate organization is seeking a skilled team member for its dynamic accounting and finance department. The Role • Prepare, review, and ensure accurate reporting of corporate and property-level accounting functions in line with GAAP and IFRS. • Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, including consolidations, reconciliations, and financial analyses. • Prepare and review monthly financial statements for a portfolio of real estate properties. • Coordinate and prepare CAM and operating expense reconciliations in adherence to lease terms. • Mentor junior staff and collaborate with asset management on accounting questions and projects. What You'll Need • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. • 4–7 years of real estate accounting experience. • Solid understanding of property-level accounting, CAM, accruals, and financial reporting. • Strong consolidation and analytical experience. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (Yardi preferred). • Ability to supervise or mentor staff. • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
