Role Overview

The Varicent Architect will lead the end-to-end implementation of Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) solutions, including architecture, requirements gathering, configuration, integration, technical leadership, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of Varicent ICM solutions.
  • Design scalable, secure, and efficient Varicent architectures.
  • Automate and optimize sales compensation processes.
  • Integrate Varicent with related platforms, including Sales Planning and CRM systems.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements through stakeholder discussions and requirements workshops.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and actionable implementation plans.
  • Document workshop outcomes, requirements, solution designs, and technical decisions.
  • Develop and maintain data models, workflows, and webforms within Varicent.
  • Apply best practices in coding, security, and database design.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams.
  • Support production operations, maintenance, and system enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Maintain high standards for documentation and solution quality.
  • Train and support end-users and business partners on Varicent functionality.
