Location: Kent / Sussex Border (Office 2-3 days per week, with site visits across London and the South East)

We're working with a well-established electrical contractor that has built an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality commercial projects across London and the South East.
Due to continued growth, they're looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their close-knit team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that gives its Project Managers genuine autonomy, exposure to the full project lifecycle and the flexibility to manage their own workload.

The Role
You'll be responsible for managing electrical projects from pre-construction through to completion, typically overseeing 3-4 live projects at any one time depending on their size and complexity.
Project values generally range from £100,000 to £1 million across commercial fit-out and refurbishment schemes.
The role offers a mixture of office and site-based working. You'll spend approximately 2-3 days each week in the office on the Kent/Sussex border, with the remaining time visiting projects across London and the South East. You'll have the flexibility to organise your own diary while ensuring successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects from contract award through to handover.
• Planning programmes and coordinating project delivery.
• Managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Procuring materials and specialist packages.
• Working alongside commercial and design teams.
• Managing costs, variations and project performance.
• Attending client and site meetings.
• Overseeing commissioning, testing and handover.
• Maintaining excellent client relationships.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the building services or M&E sector.
• Strong electrical contracting background.
• Commercial fit-out or refurbishment experience.
• Good commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
