Job Title - Business Systems Analyst (AI & Automation)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst with experience in business analysis, process improvement, and emerging AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, evaluate technology solutions, and support the development and implementation of innovative applications. This role requires a blend of business analysis, technical aptitude, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to understand operational processes, business requirements, data needs, and reporting objectives.
• Document business requirements, user stories, workflows, process maps, and functional/system specifications for new and existing applications.
• Conduct feasibility studies, gap analyses, and cost-benefit assessments for proposed technology solutions.
• Assist in developing scripts, prototypes, and automation solutions, including AI-enabled capabilities, to improve business processes.
• Evaluate system capabilities, limitations, and integration requirements to ensure proposed solutions align with organizational standards and best practices.
• Support solution testing, validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities within a rapid development environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements through automation and data-driven solutions.
• Prepare clear technical and business documentation while providing regular project updates to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a related technical role.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
• Experience conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for technology initiatives.
• Experience supporting application testing, validation, and implementation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals and experience utilizing pre-built AI models or APIs.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data processing.
• Experience with Bash scripting for system automation and deployment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, rapid application development, and prototyping techniques.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Knowledge of data integration, REST APIs, and system interoperability.
• Experience using Git for version control and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to evaluate business challenges and recommend technology-driven solutions.
