PostgreSQL DBA - Level 3 (Independent Candidates Only)

• Expert handson experience with PostgreSQL in largescale, missioncritical production environments.

• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL backup, restore, and recovery strategies.
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL High Availability and Disaster Recovery architectures, owned and executed within L2/L3 operations.
• Advanced performance tuning skills, including query optimization, indexing strategies, vacuum/analyze tuning, locking analysis, and capacity planning.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL security features, including rolebased access, auditing, encryption, and vulnerability remediation.
• Proven experience operating in a 24x7, SLAdriven managed services environment.
• Handson ownership of Sev1 / Sev2 incidents, problem management, RCA creation, and CAP execution.
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management).
• Experience supporting regulated enterprise environments, including audits and compliance evidence generation.
• Ability to identify and drive automation opportunities using approved scripting and workflow tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and mentoring skills with the ability to guide L2 teams under highpressure situations
