Job Description
We are looking for a passionate, driven, and people-focused Charity Marketing Assistant to join our growing event marketing and fundraising team. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for individuals who want to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing, community outreach, fundraising, event promotions, and customer engagement.
As a Charity Marketing Assistant, you will work directly with our team to support fundraising campaigns and represent respected nonprofit organizations at live events, community activations, and promotional outreach opportunities. You will help increase awareness, connect with supporters, and inspire community involvement through meaningful conversations.
No previous marketing or fundraising experience is required. We provide paid training, mentorship, and ongoing professional development to help you build the skills needed for long-term career growth.
Responsibilities
Represent nonprofit partners at events, community outreach campaigns, and promotional activities
Engage with members of the public and share information about charitable programs and initiatives
Assist with fundraising efforts and supporter acquisition campaigns
Build positive relationships with donors, community members, and team members
Help execute marketing strategies and event-based campaigns
Participate in training sessions focused on communication, leadership, and campaign development
Collaborate with team members to achieve outreach and fundraising goals
Maintain a professional and enthusiastic presence while representing nonprofit causes
Qualifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with new people
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Positive attitude and professional mindset
Must be 18 years or older
Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, or fundraising is helpful but not required
