Job Description
Location: Everett, WA Salary: $40.00 USD Hourly - $45.00 USD Hourly Description: Our client is currently seeking a MP&P Technical Analyst 3
Position responsibilities:
Performs quality assurance (QA) testing of fluids and lubricants.
Performs tests to qualify new tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes to meet requirements.
Maintains laboratory equipment including calibration certification.
Maintains a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment including implementation of 5S requirements and laboratory standard operating procedures (SOP's)
Prepare laboratory reagents and standards used to calibrate and/or verify instrument performance.
Supports, coordinates, and conducts complex analysis of failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures. Generates test plans, identifies, and categorizes failure, determines root cause and documents results and recommendations.
Supports the proposal, development, and validation of revisions to procedures and specifications.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree in chemistry
Laboratory experience operating analytical test equipment including XRF, pH meters, Automated Titrators and/or manual Titration practices, and /MS.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Word)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience documenting and clearly communicating test results to customers.
Experience performing laboratory testing to standards (i.e. ASTM, SAE)
Experience interacting with customers to coordinate testing requirements and schedule.
