Lean Quality Engineer

Role : Lean Quality Engineer
Location : Fort Worth, TX

Role Overview

Lead Kaizen and Lean initiatives to improve quality, productivity, safety, and cost across manufacturing processes. Drive continuous improvement and support audits, compliance, and defect reduction.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Kaizen initiatives → quality, productivity, safety, cost
• Lean practices → 5S, VSM, SMED, Poka‑Yoke, waste elimination
• Root Cause Analysis → 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, corrective actions
• Maintain PFMEA, Control Plans & SOPs
• Monitor process capability (Cp/Cpk, SPC, MSA)
• Lead internal & customer audits
• Train teams on Lean & Kaizen principles
   

Requirements

• Experience in Oil & Gas QC/QA
• Strong expertise in Lean & Kaizen tools
• Proficiency in APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D
• Problem‑solving with 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings & GD&T
• Excellent leadership & communication skills
   

Preferred

• Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
• 8+ years in industrial manufacturing
