Senior Product Owner with Scrum Master experience - Wealth Management

Location: Fort Mill, SC

Mode of Hire: Full Time

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Product owner with a strong background in the Wealth Management domain.
  • The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience, with a proven track record as a Product Owner and Scrum Master.
  • This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage product development processes, facilitate scrum ceremonies, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Product Owner, defining and prioritizing the product backlog in alignment with business goals.
  • Lead scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Write and maintain Epics, Features, and User Stories to ensure clarity and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Utilize JIRA and Confluence for project tracking, documentation, and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 12+ years of experience in Product Owner, specifically in the Wealth Management domain.
  • Strong experience as a Product Owner with a deep understanding of product lifecycle management.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master, facilitating scrum ceremonies effectively.
  • Expertise in writing Epics, Features, and User Stories.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence tools.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Agile methodologies beyond Scrum.
  • Familiarity with financial services regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMI-ACP are a plus.
