They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join their dedicated cybersecurity team, focusing on protecting critical network infrastructure. The Role • Design, implement, and manage complex firewall solutions utilising Cisco ASA/Firepower, Juniper SRX, and Palo Alto technologies. • Monitor firewall performance and security logs, identifying and mitigating potential threats proactively. • Develop, enforce, and audit network security policies and procedures to ensure compliance. • Collaborate with cross-functional IT, Security, and Network teams to integrate firewall solutions seamlessly. • Troubleshoot and resolve network and firewall-related issues, maintaining detailed documentation. • Serve as a People Leader for the Firewall Task Area, overseeing operations, projects, and assessments. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of directly relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree. • Minimum of 3 years of firewall experience within a DoD environment. • Demonstrated advanced experience in managing baseline configurations and evaluating firewall rules for maximum security and efficiency. • Experience researching and implementing new firewall technologies. • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI. • DoD 8570 IAT II or higher certification and a relevant Juniper, Cisco, or Palo Alto certification prior to start.
