Job Title: Senior Product Designer

Location: San Jose, CA 95117 – Onsite Day 1

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer with strong experience designing complex digital products and enterprise SaaS experiences. The ideal candidate will have expertise in interaction design, design systems, prototyping, Figma, accessibility, and AI-assisted workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end calling experiences across Webex desktop, web, mobile, and device surfaces.
• Define user flows, interaction models, prototypes, and implementation-ready designs.
• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Architects, Researchers, and Designers.
• Identify opportunities connecting user needs, product strategy, and technical capabilities.
• Explore AI-assisted and agentic workflows that improve real-time communication.
• Create prototypes ranging from rapid concepts to high-fidelity designs.
• Apply Cisco’s design system and identify opportunities for new calling-specific patterns.
• Validate designs through usability testing, heuristic reviews, and customer feedback.
• Document interaction behavior, accessibility requirements, edge cases, and design rationale.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of Product Design / UX Design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, interaction design, and product judgment.
• Enterprise SaaS, collaboration, communications, or complex product experience.
• Strong Figma and prototyping skills.
• Experience with design systems and accessibility/WCAG.
• Strong understanding of modern product design practices.
• Experience working with Product, Engineering, Research, and Design teams.
• Experience using AI tools for design exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, or workflow generation.
• Strong communication, storytelling, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with telecommunications, calling, meetings, messaging, or contact center products.
• Experience designing AI-assisted workflows, agents, automation, or intelligent recommendations.
• Multi-platform design experience across desktop, web, mobile, and hardware.
• Enterprise admin, provisioning, compliance, security, or regulated-environment experience.
