Position Overview

PruTech is seeking an Enterprise Solution Architect to own the end-to-end technical design of large-scale software implementation programs exceeding $10 million. This role will be responsible for defining Salesforce platform strategy, target-state architecture, implementation roadmaps, architecture standards, and technical governance while ensuring alignment with business objectives, contractual commitments, and enterprise technology standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading end-to-end Salesforce implementations of similar size, complexity, and budget, with expertise across Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Integration Architecture, Security, Data Management, and Enterprise Application Modernization. Experience supporting Early Childhood, Human Services,  or Government programs is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the Salesforce Enterprise Architecture vision, roadmap, and governance framework.
  • Establish Salesforce architecture standards, design principles, and implementation best practices.
  • Own the end-to-end solution architecture for large software implementation programs exceeding $10 million
  • Define technical strategy, target-state architecture, and roadmaps that align with client objectives and contractual commitments
  • Provide architectural leadership and technical oversight to delivery teams throughout the program lifecycle
  • Lead architecture reviews and provide oversight for all Salesforce solution designs.
  • Serve as the senior technical authority for Salesforce platform strategy and architecture decisions.
  • Drive Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) practices and architecture governance processes. Produce architecture documentation including diagrams, data flows, and technical specifications

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Conducts discovery and analysis to translate business processes and program requirements into a coherent technical architecture
  • Lead Salesforce architecture design sessions and architecture review boards.
  • Create enterprise architecture artifacts, solution blueprints, architecture decision records, and technical roadmaps.
  • Define Salesforce environment strategy, CI/CD processes, release management standards, and DevOps governance.
  • Establish security architecture including Identity & Access Management, SSO, OAuth, Shield, Event Monitoring, and compliance controls.
  • Define data migration strategies and legacy modernization approaches.
  • Guide development teams on Salesforce platform best practices and design patterns.
  • Evaluate Salesforce product capabilities and recommend platform enhancements.
  • Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, accessibility, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Mentor solution architects, technical architects, developers, and administrators.
  • Support proposal development, solution estimation, and technical staffing activities. Partners with the Engagement Manager and Project Manager to align architecture with scope, schedule, and budget
  • Supports pre-sales and proposal efforts by contributing solution designs, estimates, and technical narratives
  • Communicates complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Application Architect and/or System Architect certifications preferred
  • Experience with large-scale Salesforce programs involving multiple integrations, external portals, and complex business processes.
  • Salesforce Public Sector Solutions implementation experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting Early Childhood, Child Care, Human Services, Education, Health & Human Services, or Government programs.
  • Familiarity with government compliance and security frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST)
  • Knowledge of government security, compliance, accessibility (WCAG), and privacy standards.
  • Experience with data migration and large data volume strategies
  • Experience leading architecture across nearshore and offshore delivery teams
  • Based on the East Coast or able to support East Coast working hours and client locations
