ABOUT THE ROLE:

DaVita is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (Delta) to serve as a hands-on technical leader for Palantir Foundry-based healthcare data and operations initiatives. The role combines solution architecture, platform engineering, deployment leadership, mentorship, and innovation across high-impact engagements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and deploy end-to-end Palantir Foundry pipelines, transforms, connectors, Ontology models, applications, actions, and writeback workflows.
• Develop Python, SQL, Java, PySpark, TypeScript, OSDK, Workshop applications, custom widgets, and function-backed business logic.
• Lead data governance, permissions, restricted views, markings, property security groups, and role-based access controls.
• Own deployment roadmaps from scoping and architecture through testing, operationalization, adoption, and production support.
• Lead and mentor Forward Deployed Engineers through code reviews, architecture guidance, engineering standards, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Explore platform innovation across Pipeline Builder, Code Workspaces, Model Studio, OSDK, Cipher, streaming capabilities, AIP Agents, and RAG workflows.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7-10 years of relevant professional experience with proven Palantir Foundry implementation expertise.
• Strong experience with data integration, ontology design, distributed transformations, and production platform deployments.
• Hands-on programming experience in Python, SQL, Java, PySpark, TypeScript, and related data engineering tools.
• Ability to lead technical teams, establish engineering best practices, and guide complex enterprise deployments.
• Strong customer engagement skills with experience working across executives, analysts, engineers, and end users.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with CI/CD, branching strategies, incremental pipeline design, testing, and documentation in Foundry environments.
• Experience building ML models using Model Studio or pro-code repositories for classification, regression, forecasting, or custom prediction.
• Healthcare operations, regulated data environments, or enterprise platform modernization experience.
