Job Description

Issues Management Support Analyst

  • Location: UK (Remote)
  • Contract: 3-Month Contract
  • Rate: £240/day inside Ir35

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Issues Management Support Analyst to support an established Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) function on an initial 3-month contract. This role is suited to an analyst-level professional with experience in issues management, risk, or governance environments who can independently investigate issues, engage stakeholders, and help drive activities through to resolution.

Working closely with the existing Issues Management team, you will take ownership of the operational activities associated with individual issues, ensuring they are effectively researched, tracked, and progressed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of assigned issues and perform the necessary background research and analysis.
  • Gather relevant information, supporting data, and context surrounding issues.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand issue status, impacts, dependencies, and next steps.
  • Coordinate and facilitate discussions and meetings with relevant teams.
  • Consolidate information and updates from multiple stakeholders into clear, actionable summaries.
  • Provide regular updates and findings to the Issues Management team.
  • Track actions and follow up with stakeholders to ensure progress.
  • Support the effective movement of issues through the Issues Management life cycle.
  • Identify risks, blockers, and areas requiring escalation.

Skills & Experience Essential

  • Previous experience within Issues Management, Risk Management, Governance, Compliance, or GRC functions.
  • Strong investigative and analytical skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively manage workload.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience coordinating activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Highly Desirable

  • Background in Operational Risk, Enterprise Risk, or related risk disciplines.
  • Experience working within a structured governance or control environment.
  • Exposure to technical, IT, cybersecurity, or technology-related issues.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a capable analyst who can quickly understand issues, gather the relevant information, engage with key stakeholders, and provide clear recommendations and updates. This is not a senior or strategic role; rather, it is an opportunity for a hands-on professional who can effectively support an existing Issues Management function and help reduce workload across the team.

If you have experience in Issues Management, Risk, or GRC and enjoy working in a collaborative environment where you can make an immediate impact, we'd be interested in hearing from you.
