Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Firewall Operations Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Tufin to support enterprise firewall operations in a high-volume, ticket-driven environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing firewall access requests, managing firewall security policies, troubleshooting complex network connectivity issues, and ensuring compliance with security standards. This role is focused on firewall policy administration and operations no firewall platform engineering or implementation work is involved.

Key Responsibilities

• Process firewall access requests using Tufin by creating, modifying, and removing firewall security policies.
• Manage and update NAT policies and firewall routing as required.
• Review, validate, and maintain firewall policies for production and lab environments.
• Support firewall rule reviews and align policies with network segmentation strategies.
• Assist with firewall policy updates during DMZ and network migration activities.
• Troubleshoot complex connectivity issues across enterprise network environments.
• Perform baseline traffic validation and resiliency testing following firewall changes.
• Maintain firewall policy documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
• Assist with post-migration cleanup and removal of legacy firewall rules.
• Ensure all changes comply with established security policies and change management procedures.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, ticket-driven environment while maintaining high quality and accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Network Security or Firewall Operations.
• Hands-on experience with Tufin (required).
• Strong experience managing firewall security policies, NAT policies, and firewall routing.
• Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise network connectivity issues.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network security principles.
• Experience working with enterprise firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA, or Fortinet.
• Familiarity with network segmentation, DMZ environments, and firewall governance.
• Experience with change management and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
