IT Sr Consultant 5 - Senior Windows Engineer with Security Clearance

Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (must already be held - no sponsorship)
Certification Requirement: IAT Level II (Security+ CE, GSEC, CySA+, CCNA Security, or GICSP) The Senior Windows Engineer will drive critical innovation and reliability across a high security enterprise environment, leading advanced Windows infrastructure, automation, and virtualization initiatives. In this role, you’ll shape technical direction, solve complex challenges, and ensure mission ready performance for large scale, modernized systems. Responsibilities • Provision, manage, and support Windows servers across connected and air gapped networks

• Configure adapters, storage, firewalls, and core services
• Deploy monitoring tools and perform root cause analysis for outages
• Support hardware/software/appliance deployments, upgrades, and patching
• Convert user requirements and system architectures into technical specifications
• Deliver Tier 1–3 support for client, server, and network incidents
• Manage OS patching, hardware maintenance, and account administration Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree + 12 years relevant experience
• Associate’s degree + 15 years relevant experience
• High school diploma + 20 years relevant experience
• Active CompTIA Security+
• Active Directory & GPO Administration: Enterprise level GPO management, security baselines, and configuration controls
• SaltStack automation for deployment, configuration, and state enforcement
• VMware administration for high availability VMs, private cloud, and hybrid environments
• Privileged Access Management with Centrify (least privilege, credential security)
• Omnissa Horizon (formerly VMware Horizon) VDI & application virtualization

Preferred Qualifications • PowerShell automation

• Experience with DISA STIGs and NIST 800 53 controls
• Experience with Ansible (future transition from SaltStack)
• Linux/RedHat experience
