IT Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, goals, deliverables, resource requirements, and timelines in alignment with business objectives.

• Team Leadership: Direct cross-functional technical teams (engineers, developers, QA, and business analysts) to ensure seamless execution.

• Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve blockers.

• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, delivering clear progress reports, status updates, and milestone presentations.

• Budget & Resource Allocation: Manage project budgets, track resource utilization, and ensure optimal effort allocation.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables adhere to company standards and quality benchmarks.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: 3–5+ years of experience managing IT or software development projects.

• Methodologies: Strong proficiency in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall project management frameworks.

• Tools: Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana, MS Project, Trello).

• Certifications (Preferred): PMP (Project Management Professional), CSM (Certified ScrumMaster), or Prince2.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills.
