DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and support the continued modernization of our infrastructure and cloud environment. This role will be heavily involved in supporting and optimizing an environment that has transitioned from traditional on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD, with hands-on experience working in both on-premises and Azure environments. Experience within Energy, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, or other industrial environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Help manage and modernize infrastructure that has transitioned from on-premises environments into Azure.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve application deployment and release processes.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation solutions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational processes.
• Partner with application development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
• Monitor cloud environments and help improve system reliability, availability, scalability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application-related issues.
• Support containerized applications and modern cloud deployment patterns.
• Implement DevOps best practices around source control, release management, configuration management, and cloud governance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes through scripting and automation.
• Support ongoing cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Strong professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar infrastructure-focused role.
• Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Experience supporting environments that have migrated from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Strong scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of cloud networking, security, identity/access management, and infrastructure.
• Experience troubleshooting complex application and infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and cloud infrastructure best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Energy, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Utilities, or another industrial environment.
• Experience supporting large-scale Azure migration or cloud transformation initiatives.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, or similar monitoring tools.
• Experience working with hybrid on-premises/Azure environments.
