Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Covenant Monitoring Analyst/Senior Analyst to support the monitoring and management of credit facilities across the corporate lending portfolio. This role involves reviewing loan documentation, monitoring financial and non-financial covenants, identifying early warning signals, supporting system implementation initiatives, and ensuring accurate credit risk reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in requirement gathering for covenant monitoring system development
  2. Support data cleansing activities for loan facilities integrated into the system
  3. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure system functionality, accuracy and reliability
  4. Assume "Maker" role in covenant monitoring system to create and test Covenant Trackers
  5. Review facility documents and terms for clients
  6. Review waivers and amendment requests from agents, borrowers, and coverage teams
  7. Identify early warning signals from financial data and covenant compliance certificates
  8. Oversee covenant monitoring, early-warning indicators, watchlists, and risk grading
  9. Ensure delivery of high-quality, decision-ready portfolio and credit reporting

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Banking, or a related discipline
  2. 5-10 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Credit Risk, Portfolio Monitoring, Loan Administration, or Covenant Monitoring functions
  3. Proven experience reviewing and interpreting loan agreements, credit agreements, and syndicated lending documentation
  4. Experience with covenant monitoring systems and credit portfolio management tools
  5. Exposure to corporate lending products and syndicated lending
