Job Description
Our client, a leading automotive employer based in Coventry, West Midlands, is seeking a dedicated Group HR Advisor to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to contribute to a high-performance motor trade environment.Benefits of the Group HR Advisor:

- Provide generalist HR support across the dealer network, including advice on employee relations, performance management, conduct, and absence issues
- Support line managers with disciplinary, grievance, and performance procedures, ensuring compliance with legal standards
- Manage probation periods, contract extensions, and appointments
- Oversee sickness absence management and implement return-to-work procedures
- Assist in delivering performance management tools such as appraisals, succession planning, and career development initiatives
- Collaborate with Recruitment to facilitate timely hiring processes
- Promote best HR practices aligned with employment legislation and company policies
- Support organisational development and employee engagement initiatives
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure statutory compliance
- CIPD qualification or actively working towards it
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an HR advisory role
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as the Group HR Advisor
- Proven ability to manage employee relations and complex HR issues
- Professional, supportive approach with a focus on developing teams and supporting managers
- Automotive industry experience is desirable but not essential
