Quick overview
Job description
Note: Partly is headquartered in Austin, TX with offices in London, UK, Christchurch, NZ and Auckland, NZ. Wherever you're based, we'll connect you with your nearest office for onboarding, and fly you to join the full team for our quarterly "Season Openers" (we cover travel and accommodation). If you're relocating to join us, we can also assist with relocation costs.
🚀 Our Story
Partly is building the infrastructure for anyone to repair anything. We believe everything built should be repairable, and we're building frontier AI to put repair knowledge to work, starting with the $2tn automotive market.
Our model, Interpreter, is the first AI purpose-built to understand repair. Trained on 1M+ car models and 1B+ parts, it reads a repair job the way an estimator does, resolves damage into the exact purchasable part, and shows its reasoning with a confidence score. On real production jobs, an estimator working with Interpreter reaches 98.8% parts-list accuracy, against 92.1% with today's tools. It powers PartlyRepair, used by collision shops, workshops and suppliers to take the admin off the job; PartlyLabs, the agentic infrastructure enterprises use to deploy Interpreter across their own workflows; and a developer API.
Founded by ex-Rocket Lab engineers, we've raised a $50m Series B led by DST Global (Anthropic, Airbnb, Meta, TikTok, Spotify), with Blackbird Ventures, WNDR, Activant Capital, Icehouse Ventures, Square Peg, Airtree and Ecliptic Venture Capital. Hear it from the team: Why Partly exists and AI at Partly.
🖍️ This role
Repairers are Partly's flagship customer and PartlyRepair AI is our flagship product. You own Partly's relationship with the UK's largest repair groups, from the first conversation to every site ordering.
You lead the largest accounts yourself. You sit across the table from the CFOs and commercial directors of groups running hundreds of sites, and your job is to make sure being on the panel turns into volume flowing through the platform: site commitments, mandates, pricing and the rollout plan behind them.
You also run a small team of four: an AE bringing new groups onto the network, and account managers who get signed sites live and converting. The measure of success is that the commercial standard you set becomes how the whole team works.
💻 What will you do
Lead our largest repair groups
Own the senior relationship with our largest groups, including the CFO and commercial leadership
Take signed accounts from panel presence to genuine wallet share
Drive cross-sell of new products across our installed base
Land the groups still outside the network
Personally lead the largest unsigned groups, including insurer owned networks
Own the named account list and its tiering
Structure the terms, not just the signature: site commitments, supply mandates and pricing
Build a joint account plan with the supplier team where the same buyer holds both relationships
Run the rollout
Own the rollout plan for every strategic account: which sites go live when, who on the customer side owns each step, and what has to be true first
Run product rollouts into your accounts, for example invoice reconciliation, Repair AI and new ordering flows, from pilot sites to the whole group
Hold every signed group to a site and conversion plan, and find and fix what stops sites ordering
Build the partnerships around our repair groups
Identify the partnerships that make repair groups more successful on Partly
Make the case for each one, agree what it unlocks for the customer, and work with product and leadership to land it
Use partnerships to open doors into groups still outside the network
Shape the product
Be the voice of the largest groups in product decisions: what they need, in what order, and why it moves volume
Work with product on scope and timing for customer commitments, so we only promise what we can deliver
Turn what you learn on site into clear requirements and priorities
Lead the strategic accounts team
Coach on discovery, deal management and commercial negotiation, and lead by example on your own accounts
Set targets and account allocation, and run structured account and deal reviews
Build your own pipeline and performance views. Rev ops supports, it does not run your reporting
Run each account off its numbers: site by site conversion, where the gap is, and the one action that closes it
🥷 Your skills
Must have
Senior commercial ownership. Has personally owned and grown a top account at CFO and commercial director level, structured complex agreements with procurement and finance in the room, and restructured an agreement after signature to change how volume flows
Operational rigour on rollouts. Has taken a software or service from pilot to dozens or hundreds of sites, including integrations with the customer's systems, and kept it to plan
Strongly analytical. Diagnoses an account from the data: where volume leaks between jobs opened, offers seen and parts ordered, which sites drag the number, and what moves it. Builds their own analysis in spreadsheets or BI tools and uses it to run accounts, make the commercial case and hold the team to account
Strong plus
Product fluent. Comfortable working with product and engineering on requirements, scope and trade offs, and explaining them to a customer's operations and IT teams
Has run a volume motion as well as named accounts. Has managed managers or a high volume team alongside large accounts. This is what the step up to the wider repairer business needs
Player-coach. Has led a small team while still carrying the biggest accounts personally
Comfortable where the playbook is still being written
Automotive aftermarket, collision repair, insurance, fleet or parts distribution background
Has sold into multi site repair or dealer groups
We do not expect someone exceptional at all of these. We want someone clearly strong on the three must haves, and solid on the rest.
Please note: if you don't have all the skills or experience listed above but believe you could be outstanding in this role, please still consider applying. Many people count themselves out. We'd love the chance to learn more about you and why you're exceptional.
🎁 Benefits
Healthy, Catered Lunches - Enjoy fresh, healthy lunches every workday in our Auckland, Christchurch, London, and Austin offices. With no meal prep needed, you can eat, connect, and refuel with your team. (And yes, snacks and drinks are always on hand.)
Healthy Body, Healthy Mind - We care about performing at our peak. Every team member gets a $1,500 annual wellness allowance (or local equivalent) on a Partly-branded card. Use it on things such as gym memberships, rock climbing, physical therapy, massage, doctor visits, prescriptions—anything that you or your family need!

Getting Here Is On Us - If you commute to a Partly office or coworking space (atleast 4 days a week), choose from a paid 24/7 parking spot or a commuting allowance. One less thing to think about!
Office-First with Flexibility - In cities where we have an office (London. Austin, Christchurch, Auckland), we default to working from the office every day. This lets us move faster, make better decisions, and build strong relationships. We also operate with a high-trust environment, so you can manage your time around your life and flex your schedule to do your best work.
Time Off - you can use your annual leave and sick leave from day one, no waiting to accrue it first. And if you ever go into a negative balance, that's fine too, we trust you to manage your own time off
We Celebrate Together - From weekly happy hours and monthly lunches to quarterly season openers and an annual global offsite, we make time to connect, celebrate, and have fun as one team.
Giving - We support charitable giving and will top up your donation by 33% for charities on the GiveWell list
Equity - You'll receive share options (ESOP) with a 4-year vesting schedule and a 1-year cliff, true ownership in Partly from day one. Your strike price is a flat $0.01 per share, and you have up to 10 years to exercise.
🛬 Relocation
If you're relocating to Partly HQ, whether from overseas or within the country, we offer a generous relocation allowance to help support your move.
