Details:

Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud - Architect

Location: Dallas, TX Hybrid

Duration: 12 months

Program context: Phase-two Oracle Fusion Supply Chain program for an enterprise retail/distribution client. Phase one (Procurement, P2P, O2C, Plan-to-Produce) is live. Phase two centers on a Supplier Portal rollout and a significant EDI re-architecture for long-term observability, traceability, and low supplier disruption.

Role Summary

Own the end-to-end solution architecture for the Oracle Fusion SCM phase-two program. Translate business goals for Supplier Portal and EDI modernization into a coherent, scalable target architecture spanning Procurement, integrations, and downstream reporting, and provide design authority across functional and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Define the target-state architecture for Supplier Portal and supplier B2B/EDI integration across Fusion Procurement and adjacent modules.

Evaluate and recommend EDI/integration platforms (Oracle native EDI/OBN, Informatica B2B Gateway, MuleSoft, Axway) against cost, observability, and supplier-impact criteria.

Establish integration standards, error-handling/observability patterns, and reference designs for inbound/outbound flows.

Provide design governance and review of functional configuration and technical build; own the solution architecture and integration architecture artifacts.

Partner with business and delivery leads on scope, estimates, and roadmap sequencing.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years supply chain / ERP solution architecture, with multiple full-lifecycle Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud implementations.
  • Deep Oracle Fusion Procurement, Self-Service Procurement, Supplier Portal, and Supplier Model expertise.
  • Strong integration architecture background - OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), REST/SOAP, FBDI, EDI standards (X12/EDIFACT), and B2B gateways.
  • Proven experience selecting and architecting EDI/middleware platforms and designing for observability and exception management.
  • Ability to lead design authority across mixed functional/technical teams and articulate trade-offs to business stakeholders.

Nice to Have
