Job Description

Required Qualifications

  • 15–20 years of progressive technical experience, including significant time as an Enterprise/Solution Architect.
  • Deep domain expertise in financial services and healthcare benefits administration, specifically: HSA, FSA, HRA, and COBRA account types, participant lifecycle, contribution/reimbursement processing, and claims adjudication.
  • Would be a plus, if you have a prior experience with M&A technology integration, platform consolidation, or large-scale system migration — including running technical due diligence and building integration/rationalization roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated ability to bridge technical architecture with business/product strategy — able to assess "what a platform does" from both a code/systems lens and a product-capability lens.
  • Proven experience delivering solutions in regulated industries (healthcare, banking, finance).
  • Deep hands-on experience with Multi Cloud setup – Azure, AWS, OCI. (preferred, Microsoft Azure: Azure Functions, Azure Blob, Key Vault, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Web PubSub, Container Apps, APIM)
  • Strong background in identity and access management: Azure AD/Entra ID, ADFS, OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, IAM policy frameworks (OPA/OPAL a plus).
  • Expertise in distributed and event-driven architecture: microservices, service mesh, serverless, reliable actor-based systems, API gateways.
  • Proficiency in the Java, Python, or .NET programming ecosystem
  • Strong database experience: SQL Server, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB; familiarity with schema/DDL automation frameworks (e.g., DacFx) a plus.
  • Experience with messaging/streaming platforms: Kafka (Strimzi/Confluent), Event Hub, Service Bus, Change Data Capture (CDC).
  • Working knowledge of CNCF/cloud-native tooling: Kubernetes, Dapr, Kratix, Backstage.io, K8s operators.
  • Solid DevOps foundation: AKS, Azure Repos/Pipelines, Bicep, ARM templates.
  • Demonstrated leadership: team mentoring, project/program management, executive stakeholder communication, Scaled Agile delivery, offshore/onshore team coordination.
    • Proven experience of leading teams of Architects, Tech Leads, Developers to implement the defined roadmap


Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct prior experience in building/modernizing/integrating, a consumer-directed healthcare (CDH) or benefits administration platforms.
  • Experience with COBRA administration and continuation-of-coverage compliance workflows.
  • Prior experience on an active M&A integration team or in a post-merger technology integration (PMI) function, will be a plus
  • Azure certifications (Solutions Architect Expert, Security Engineer) a plus.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks relevant to healthcare/financial data (HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI-DSS).
