Solution Architect

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of a strategic Home Lending Data Modernization Program supporting FR Y-14M regulatory reporting, enterprise analytics, and self-service data consumption. The role will define the target-state architecture, foundational Home Lending data model, cloud migration strategy, integration architecture, and governance framework while supporting migration from legacy platforms to a modern Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery-based data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities Define and own end-to-end solution architecture for the Home Lending data ecosystem. Establish target-state cloud architecture supporting FR Y-14M reporting requirements. Design scalable and resilient Google Cloud Platform-based data platforms supporting regulatory, operational, and analytical workloads. Develop architectural roadmaps supporting modernization and legacy platform retirement initiatives. Define enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and guidelines. Lead architecture governance reviews and design approvals.

Define foundational Home Lending data models and architecture patterns. Develop cloud migration strategies for legacy and non-strategic data platforms. Design integration architecture supporting data movement across enterprise systems. Establish data governance and architecture frameworks supporting data quality, controls, and regulatory traceability. Partner with Business, Regulatory Reporting, Data Engineering, Data Governance, Controls, Testing, and Product teams. Support modernization initiatives that improve data quality, reduce operational complexity, and automate controls.

Enable self-service data consumption and enterprise analytics through scalable data architecture. Ensure architectural solutions support regulatory reporting, data lineage, and traceability requirements. Required Qualifications 12+ years of experience in Data, Integration, or Solution Architecture. 7+ years of experience architecting large-scale enterprise data platforms. Experience leading cloud modernization programs. Experience working within large Banking or Financial Services organizations. Experience supporting FR Y-14M reporting environments.

Strong Home Lending and Mortgage domain experience. Strong experience designing cloud-based data ecosystems and enterprise data platforms. Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, ETL/ELT modernization, and enterprise data architecture. Strong architectural governance and solution design experience.
