Plant Controller

Fernley, NV

A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Plant Controller to partner with operations leadership and drive financial performance across a large production facility. This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to plant leadership and strong opportunities for long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting
  • Analyze labor, material, and manufacturing cost variances
  • Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve profitability
  • Partner with plant leadership on operational and financial decisions
  • Maintain strong controls and support GAAP compliance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or plant controllership experience
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills
  • Experience partnering with operations leaders in a plant environment

Preferred Experience:

  • Plant Controller, Plant Finance Manager, or Cost Accounting background
  • Standard costing and inventory accounting experience
  • ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, JDE, OneStream, or similar)
  • Manufacturing experience within industrial, consumer products, building products, packaging, or related industries
