Job Description:

Senior application developer with 10+ years experience to design and develop trading applications for the MBAM (Public Finance) Front Office Technology Team.

The candidate will work in a Trading environment as part of an agile team doing hands-on full-stack development with emphasis on Java, TypeScript, Oracle and Python.The candidate will work with traders and cross functional business groups like compliance, legal and peer technology teams.

Responsibilities:

Create trading applications and services for use by the Municipal Bonds Trading Desk using Java, TypeScript, SQL/Oracle, Python.

Participate in a dynamic, self-organizing, technical team environment to collaboratively drive software solutions through an agile software lifecycle.

Demonstrate excellent communication spanning both technical and business domains.

Apply benchmarking and performance turning techniques for the improvement of the trading platform's end-to-end performance.

Work with cross functional groups including business, technology, compliance, legal teams to understand and balance multiple simultaneous cross-competing demands.

• Experience with enterprise tools and technologies including RDMS (Oracle), Message (AMPS), Application framework (Angular, React, OpenShift, Quartz)
• Demonstrated skills on Data Visualization software - preferably Tableau.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving skills, particularly in the area of strategy development, business analysis, opportunity assessments.
• Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
• Minimum 10 Years experience in Application Development
• Industry experience in a Markets Front-Office Trading environment
