Retail Sales Operations & Category Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Retail Sales Operations & Category Analyst in Kansas City, MO.

Summary

We are looking for a Retail Sales Operations & Category Analyst for a contract opportunity. The Retail Sales Operations & Category Analyst will provide ongoing Sales Operations, Category Management, Item Management, and Market Development support for a client's program activities. Services include product data maintenance, reporting, promotion administration, store project coordination, and cross-functional support across multiple business systems and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain product master data, including UPC setup, audits, and item lifecycle updates
• Generate, validate, and distribute sales, category, and business performance reporting
• Provide analytical and operational support to ADUSA Category Management teams
• Develop insights and recommendations through business reporting and trend analysis
• Set up, monitor, and track promotional and pricing deals
• Coordinate market development activities, including store installations, remodels, and closures

REQUIREMENTS

• College degree or equivalent work experience required; Analytics and/or Business degree preferred
• Must be familiar with and have access to key Ahold systems to execute this work; In-house and remotely; Ahold to provide PC and ensure regular access in office and remote
• In lieu of Ahold experience, ideal candidates should have experience with IDW
• Experience building sales and customer trend reporting
• Project management experience a plus
• Must have a high attention to detail and self-starter mentality
• Expectation of being in an office 3 days a week; Carlisle, PA area
• Be available to work at home or be available the other 2 days should any urgent need arise

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
