About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Youth Support Facilitator. You will be a steady presence-empowering personal growth, building life skills, and inspiring confidence in young people. Reporting to the Client Services Coordinator, this is a part time (30.4 hours per week) max term (12 month contract) role located in Frankston, VIC.

Make a real difference in the lives of young people across Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula by guiding those at risk of long term unemployment toward brighter futures.

How you will make an impact
  • Help shift a young person's future, supporting disengaged youth to break free from cycles of disadvantage and rediscover purpose through education, skills, and meaningful pathways.
  • Empower hands on exploration, guiding young people through trade tasters, training, and work experience that help them uncover passions and practical routes to employment.
  • Foster resilience and wellbeing by offering a safe, supportive space where self worth is built, emotional health is nurtured, and confidence to face life's challenges is restored.
  • Be a mentor and role model supporting young people as they grow independence, strengthen social skills, and reconnect with their community and future.
  • Shape lasting impact by working collaboratively within a trauma informed framework to design and deliver youth led programs that create transformational change.
Conditions & Compensation

Compensation is in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award (SCHADS) - Level5.

What you will bring
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Youth Work, Social Work, Community Services, Education or a related field.
  • Possible additional certifications in mental health, trauma informed care or educational support (highly desirable).
  • Proven experience supporting at risk youth in community or educational settings, with the ability to deliver hands on learning experiences and provide tailored case management through individualized support plans.
  • A current Employee Working with Children Check.
  • A current Victorian Drivers Licence.
