Collaboration Engineer (SME) with Security Clearance

Position Overview
We are seeking a senior Collaboration Platform Designer to lead the design, implementation, and modernization of enterprise collaboration platforms across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments. This individual will serve as the highest-level technical escalation point for the collaboration team, lead migration initiatives, and provide technical direction for collaboration services including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Power BI. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies, strong PowerShell automation skills, experience leading large-scale migration efforts, and the ability to work directly with federal stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and support of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace collaboration platforms.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex collaboration platform issues and major outages.
• Lead migration and modernization initiatives involving SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Power BI, and Google Workspace services.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell and GAM automation solutions to support administration, reporting, and migration activities.
• Work directly with federal stakeholders to define requirements, priorities, and project objectives.
• Coordinate activities across collaboration engineers and project teams.
• Evaluate platform architecture and recommend improvements to collaboration services.
• Support API-based integrations and automation between collaboration platforms and enterprise applications.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members.
• Document platform designs, implementation plans, operational procedures, and technical recommendations. Required Qualifications
• 10-15+ years of experience supporting enterprise collaboration platforms.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience leading enterprise collaboration migrations, implementations, or modernization efforts.
• Experience creating PowerShell scripts from scratch.
• Experience troubleshooting complex collaboration platform issues in production environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working directly with customer leadership and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Workspace administration experience.
• Experience with Google Apps Manager (GAM).
• Experience supporting Power BI environments and migrations.
• Experience with API integrations and workflow automation.
• Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace certifications.
• Experience supporting federal government customers.

Collaboration Platform Engineer (SME)

• Must possess a High School Diploma.
• Must have a minimum of 10 years of IT relevant work experience
• Must be a W-2, US Citizen or Green Card Holder (who has resided in the US within the past 3 consecutive years) with the ability to pass a public trust clearance (can\'t start until they pass the public trust, typically 6-8 weeks) 1. Microsoft 365 Collaboration Platforms – Expert-level experience designing, implementing, and supporting SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, and enterprise collaboration services.

2. Platform Migration & Modernization – Experience leading SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Power BI, Microsoft 365, or Google Workspace migration and transformation initiatives.
3. PowerShell, GAM & API Integration – Experience developing PowerShell scripts from scratch, utilizing GAM, and integrating platforms through APIs and automation.
4. Advanced Collaboration Engineering – Experience resolving complex platform issues involving collaboration services, permissions, synchronization, integrations, and enterprise-scale deployments.
5. Technical Leadership – Experience leading engineers, coordinating project execution, serving as a senior escalation point, and working directly with customer leadership.
