Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer with strong expertise in land development and site development engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading grading, drainage, and utility design projects, managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams from due diligence through project completion. This role also involves permitting coordination, mentoring junior staff, supporting client relationships, and ensuring high-quality technical deliverables for private and municipal development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead site development design including grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility layouts.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with engineering, planning, surveying, and design teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Identify project risks proactively and develop solutions to keep projects on track.
- Prepare, review, and oversee technical reports, construction documents, and engineering deliverables.
- Support permitting and entitlement processes with local municipalities and regulatory agencies.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and design staff.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and industry engineering standards and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Must have Colorado PE License or ability to obtain Colorado PE license within 6 months.
- 8+ years of experience in Land Development or Site Development projects.
- Strong Design experience in Site Development like grading, drainage, utilities.
