PowerBuilder Architect

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for PowerBuilder Architect in Albany, NY.

Description:
Participate in design review sessions with the program area. Review existing data sets and applications. As needs arise, modify and support the applications until they can be replaced with a modern web-based version. Day to day tasks will include, but are not limited to implementing requirements by designing, coding, and testing new features. Documenting code-based business rules.

Mandatory Qualifications:
? Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
? Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

? 84 months of experience with coding client-server relational database applications using PowerBuilder.
? 84 months of experience with Oracle and PL/SQL. Experience should include creating tables, stored procedures, triggers, views, and other objects.
? 48 months experience with writing complex SQL queries and reports such as multiple JOINs, subqueries, conditional logic or windows functions; experience with data manipulation, data migration, and creation of ETL scripts.
? 48 Months as a lead developer on projects that included multiple developers working on the same project/component or had more than four developers on the team.
