At Coles, our Customer Experience (CX) team is reshaping how millions of Australians discover, shop and engage with us across digital, ecommerce, loyalty and retail media. We’re looking for a commercially astute Head of Finance Business Partnering – CX to lead finance support across our customer ecosystem from front-end digital experiences through to fulfilment, trade activation and proposition development.

This is not a traditional finance role. It’s about influencing growth, shaping new channels, and partnering with senior leaders to make bold, customer-led decisions.

What you will be doing

Lead a team of 25+ Finance Managers, Business Partners and Analysts and partner across Ecommerce, Digital Products, Marketing, Loyalty and Coles360 and Customer Fulfilment Centre Operations.

Partner with CX and product leaders to shape investment decisions across apps, digital platforms and customer journey initiatives

Provide commercial oversight from front-end customer acquisition through to fulfilment economics and trade activation

Support ongoing optimisation of digital products operating in agile environments

Drive financial modelling and scenario planning for new channels, ventures and growth initiatives

Build frameworks that enable faster, data-driven decision making

Translate complex financial insights into compelling commercial narratives for executive stakeholders

Shape governance and performance reporting across a fast-moving, customer-led portfolio

About You
You’re a strategic finance leader who thrives in growth environments and knows how to partner deeply with commercial and product teams.

And ideally you will bring

Significant leadership experience working with executives in ecommerce or digital environments

Exposure across the full customer value chain acquisition, proposition, fulfilment, trade and margin optimisation

Experience supporting or working within customer loyalty programs

Strong understanding of digital product economics and agile ways of working

Experience standing up new channels, ventures or commercial models

Confidence partnering with senior stakeholders to influence investment and prioritisation decisions

Exposure to retail media or growth businesses (e.g., Coles360) is highly advantageous

The ability to balance innovation with disciplined financial governance
