5G RAN Operations Engineer
Stone Mountain, GA

IntePros is hiring a 5G RAN Operations Engineer to support a regional 5G network within a large-scale wireless environment. This hybrid role (70% remote / 30% onsite) focuses on Tier II network operations, troubleshooting, outage response, and performance optimization. Travel will be within 2 hours of Stone Mountain, GA

Responsibilities:

• Provide Tier II support for 5G RAN, Transport, Fronthaul, and Core networks
• Monitor alarms, troubleshoot outages, and restore network service
• Support new 5G site deployments and maintenance activities
• Document incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and manage trouble tickets
• Collaborate with Field Operations, vendors, and engineering teams
• Mentor Tier I NOC technicians and drive process improvements

Experience:

• Experience supporting 5G RAN and transport networks
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
• Knowledge of cell site topology, RF KPIs, and OSI model
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, outage-driven environments

Preferred:

• Samsung 5G experience (USM/WFM)
• Samsung 5G certifications
• ORAN and virtualized RAN experience
• Experience with RCAs, MOPs, and deployment documentation
