Job Description

Join our client's dynamic team as a Test Engineer, where your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of quality assurance across diverse applications. Collaborate closely with a dedicated squad and the Test Automation Working Group to craft high-quality code and drive innovative testing solutions that deliver measurable value to end-users. Compensation:

$70.00/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain both manual and automated tests that align with organizational and domain-specific standards.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and review of testing code to enhance automation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
  • Support and improve the release process through diligent testing practices.
  • Document testing procedures and contribute to internal guidelines, standards, and policies.
  • Gain and maintain a solid understanding of the technical and business aspects within the squad's scope.
  • Work within Agile methodologies, participating actively in sprint planning and reviews.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with test design techniques ensuring high data quality.
  • Hands-on expertise with testing web-based applications and/or ETL technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or Java, with familiarity with pytest preferred.
  • Experience using version control systems to manage test code changes.
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting.
  • Strong analytical mindset with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Formal education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
