Contract: Project Manager - Cryptography
Start Date: ASAP (once background checks and onboarding are completed)
Duration: 6 months Rolling
Location: Hybrid - Remote and London
Rate: £525 - £550 a day (inside IR35 via umbrella)

Scope

Contract for an experienced Project Manager who has delivered Cryptography projects in large corporate client environments. The Project Manager will be part of the Service Delivery - Cryptography team, leading the delivery and coordination of cryptographic solutions and consultations globally. The role covers processes around TLS/SSL certificates, SSH keys, and cryptographic projects.



YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own end-to-end delivery of Cryptographic services initiatives, working closely with Global team members
  • Identify gaps in processes and escalate them accordingly
  • Identify risks of changes, propose mitigation, and maintain the project risk log
  • Lead the process of change implementation, coordinating closely with Vendors' support and Global Internal teams
  • Track progress on continuous data enhancement quality initiatives
  • Prepare status reports from multiple sources to identify problems, track progress, and update stakeholders
  • Act as first point of escalation for project delivery issues
  • Coordinate with end users to scope and prioritise solutions for non-standard queries
  • Manage timelines and stakeholder communications for the SSH/TLS key remediation programme across business functions
  • Own Change Management control in support of project tasks
  • Coordinate resolution of certificate generation and connection issues between Venafi TPP and target servers across technical teams
  • Ensure solution documentation is reviewed and meets cryptography security assurance requirements
  • Manage delivery of cryptography consultancy services to internal customers globally
  • Ensure requests are processed in ServiceNow within agreed SLA
  • Manage and support project team members


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE REQUIRE

  • Customer/stakeholder focus, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal/external key stakeholders and cross functional, global/local IT teams
  • Strong planning, organisational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure, managing multiple workstreams
  • Operational effectiveness - ensures delivery aligns to approved design patterns and security, risk and regulatory standards
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure technical platforms/technologies
  • A track record of driving process improvement and leading change management initiatives
  • Working understanding of SSH/SSL functionality and usage
  • Experience with risk and issue management, RAID logs, and governance reporting
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
