Make a Difference Through Digital Health About The Design & Architecture Services Team.

The Design & Architecture Services Team provides organisation-wide architecture governance and solution design leadership. The team partners with operational, clinical and technical stakeholders to ensure technology decisions support strategic goals, reduce risk and create a cohesive digital ecosystem.

About The Role

As Application Architect, you will provide specialised architectural leadership for Microsoft application platforms across Monash Health. You will establish standards, provide architectural assurance and guide the safe, governed and effective use of Microsoft technologies including Power Platform and Microsoft 365. Working closely with Digital Applications teams, Cyber Security, IT Operations and business stakeholders, you will help ensure solutions are sustainable, supportable and aligned with enterprise architecture principles while enabling innovation across the organisation.

What We're Looking For

You are an experienced Application Architect who thrives at the intersection of innovation, governance and business enablement. You bring deep expertise across Microsoft 365, Power Platform and modern application architecture, with the ability to balance creativity and agility with the controls required in a complex, highly regulated environment. You have extensive experience designing and governing solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages and Dataverse, and understand how these technologies can be applied to deliver meaningful business outcomes while maintaining security, compliance and sustainability.

You'll Also Bring:

  • Extensive experience designing and governing Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, platform governance and enterprise standards.
  • Experience working within highly regulated and complex environments.
  • Ability to provide practical architectural guidance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A passion for enabling innovation while maintaining strong governance and control frameworks.
Experience in healthcare or digital health is highly regarded.
