W2 Role : Pixel Test Automation Engineer - Python, HIL & Computer Vision

Technical Skills Breakdown

 

Required Skills (Must Have)
 

● Strong Python Proficiency: Ability to write clean, maintainable test actions, libraries, and infrastructure code.
● Device UI Automation: Deep experience with UI Automator, Appium, or similar frameworks for simulating user interactions.
● Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) & Robotics Automation: Experience controlling physical
hardware (e.g., robotic arms, linear gantries, motion controllers) via code to interact with physical systems.
● Computer Vision (CV) & OCR Automation: Practical experience using camera feeds and Vision APIs/OCR to navigate sealed or non-instrumented UIs via coordinate-based
actions and visual anchor detection.
● End-to-End Test Frameworks: Proficiency with multi-device or embedded testing frameworks (e.g., Mobly, PyTest).
 

● Automotive/Wireless Connectivity: Understanding of Android Auto, Bluetooth protocols, or Projection technologies.
● Algorithm & Pathing Logic: Familiarity with AI detectors for automating complex UI navigation flows.
