About the role. Location: Dandenong South Shift: Day shift We're currently looking for a Technical Line Lead to join our Kinrise Snackfoods team. This role provides first-line technical support across designated production lines, helping minimise downtime, improve performance, and support production continuity. You will work closely with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to ensure equipment and processes consistently meet operational targets. This role is ideal for an experienced Technical Operator, Leading Hand, Line Leader looking to further develop their leadership and technical capability within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, and output targets.
- Provide first-line troubleshooting and technical support to minimise downtime.
- Assist with start-ups, shutdowns, changeovers, and product transitions.
- Coach and support operators in equipment operation, SOPs, and best practices.
- Perform basic equipment adjustments, fault resets, inspections, and cleaning activities.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality standards.
- Promote safe work practices, hazard reporting, and high housekeeping standards.
- Escalate equipment, quality, or safety issues when required.
- Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similar production environment.
- Previous experience as a Technical Operator, Leading Hand, Line Leader, or similar role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coach, support, and influence operators.
- Understanding of GMP, HACCP, safety, and quality requirements.
- Exposure to OEE, downtime reporting, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement programs.
- A hands on operator who leads by example and thrives on the production floor.
