Job Title: Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant (VBCS)

Location: Newark, NJ                                                                              Duration: 6–12 Months Contract
Employment Type: Contract (C2C/W2)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) to support the design, development, customization, and integration of Oracle HCM Cloud applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Oracle HCM technical development, VBCS, integrations, reports, and data migration while working closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of Oracle HCM Cloud Technical experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
  • Experience developing custom pages, extensions, and Redwood UI enhancements using VBCS.
  • Expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Strong experience with HCM Extracts, HDL, and HSDL.
  • Experience creating and maintaining BI Publisher (BIP) and OTBI Reports.
  • Experience with Fast Formulas is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and Oracle HCM integrations.
  • Knowledge of Oracle SQL and data migration activities.
  • Experience working with Security Roles, approval workflows, and Oracle HCM technical configurations.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Redwood User Experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain technical solutions within Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Build and customize Oracle HCM pages using VBCS and Redwood UI.
  • Develop integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and third-party applications using OIC, REST, and SOAP APIs.
  • Create and maintain BI Publisher, OTBI Reports, and HCM Extracts.
  • Perform data conversion and migration using HDL and HSDL.
  • Develop and support custom technical extensions and business processes.
  • Work closely with functional teams to gather requirements and implement technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Participate in system testing, UAT, deployments, and post-production support.
  • Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer documents.
