Full-Time Bank Security Officer - Bay Shore, NY - $20.50/hr.

Join Our Team as a Professional Security Officer!

We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Security Officer to provide a safe and secure environment at a professional client location. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong security experience who take pride in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Pay Rate

• $20.50 per hour

 

Schedule - Overtime built into schedule

• Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and highly visible security presence.
• Monitor the premises and report security or safety concerns promptly.
• Control access to the property and assist visitors, employees, and vendors.
• Conduct routine patrols and remain alert for suspicious activity.
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies following established procedures.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while enforcing site policies and procedures.
• Remain standing for the duration of the assigned shift.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of prior security experience.
• Active New York State Security Guard License.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the assigned shift.
• Ability to work the required schedule, including Saturdays.
• High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior law enforcement experience.
• Experience working in a professional office, corporate, or customer-facing environment.
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
