The Role • Coordinate development of subsystem upgrades for a strategic fire control system. • Manage and develop system requirements, including documentation, testing, verification, and validation. • Lead systems design and development, including hardware and software integration, planning, and troubleshooting. • Provide engineering leadership, including communication, presentation, and cross-discipline knowledge sharing. • Introduce and manage modernization initiatives by integrating complex technical scope across teams. • Generate technical white papers to inform strategic communities about new technologies. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related STEM field, with 5+ years of experience (or Master's with 3+ years). • Demonstrated success in leading the systems development lifecycle. • Proficiency with requirements management and system modeling tools. • Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience in negotiation. • Ability to provide technical leadership and foster team success. • U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the work.
